Last weekend, I went home to the Bay Area to see The Get Up Kids and Steel Train perform in San Francisco. Even though I spent a round trip total of 11 hours driving, it was definitely worth the short but sweet visit home.
So far this week there’s not much new, so instead of boring you with the mundane details of my existence (I’ve been working 30+ hours a week in addition to being a full time student), I will now bore you with something completely different: American Idol ramble. Yes, you read that right. I’m sorry.
One of my roommates and one of my other friends here in LA are interns over at American Idol right now, and I’ve got something to admit… I’ve been watching the auditions (Chris Medina, oh my gawd!). I have something else to admit: I’m considering watching this season, even after auditions are over. This is a big deal for me, guys, I haven’t watched that show in years (more specifically, since Jason Castro got the boot 3 seasons ago)… Wonder what the chances of being able to get tickets to a taping are? :x
